new pictures

well yesterday between feedings and diaper changes I managed to get a bunch more picture up on my web album. There are some duplicates and not everything has a caption but they are there. I discovered as I posted these pictures that I don't have pictures of everything I've made so today my goal is to take those pictures and post them.
on a "family" note, the last 3 days with my boys has been great, Dexter's terrible 2's is really starting to calm down and Cleese is finally getting on a manageable schedule. here's a pic of my boys incase anyone wants to see them. :-) this was taken the day after Cleese was born. the funny look on my face is because I was just taking Dex's finger out of his nose for the photo...BOYS! ick!

12 weeks and counting

it's been 12 weeks and 2 days since I have the baby. That means it's been 12 weeks and 3 days since I really got into my scrapping space. But I am uploading new pictures to my photo album right now and I will be getting into my space soon. The baby is finally falling into a routine and my 2 year old isn't always terrible. Luckily they both go to bed by 8pm so that may start a few extra hours here and there for me to get back into things. So before I blog too much I'm going to post those new"ish" picture and get some inspiration to get more done for you awesome 8 people who decided to follow me ! Thanks! XOXOX

What a new year brings..

Well, I am no longer a Stampin' up demonstrator, things got a little outta whack the end of April and let's just say I need a little Stampin' up break. I'm still scrapping and making cards but for myself. I may still have classes not 100% sure on that yet though. April 30th marked a busy day for me, I had my second son that day, Cleese Bruce Clarke, 7lbs 1.7 oz. 19 & 3/4 inches long and healthy and happy, but that was also the day I officially got kicked out of SU! oh well, I had more important things to tend to that day! :-) Things are hectic still as Cleese is only 1 month old and Dexter is still exercising his right to be a "terrible two" year old so as soon as I can get some time to me I will be back in the saddle making card s and scrapping. I have projects "brewing" in the back of my head. like the album I plan to make for the boys, I have a picture of Dex every week upto 1 year old and started the same for Cleese and I plan to do a page for every week with both boys on it. Can't wait to start it!

WOW where have I been...

it's been 6 MONTHS, since I last posted anything...ouch! well I have lots of great excuses: here we go: June, July, August I was trapped at the cottage with NO internet!, September moved back to town found out I am pregnant ( morning sickness 24/7) October...???? I don't even remember it was such a blur. November..I know it's only the 13th but it's been crazy, between finding flu shots, and fighting off regular colds, finding out my mom has breast cancer ( her operation was this afternoon) and balancing my own doctor's appointments. WOW! gotta take a breath and slow down. I am finally back into the scrapping and card making. I have a Christmas card class scheduled for the 21st and 22nd this month. Hopefully it'll go well. the picture above is one of the cards we'll be making. I know I've said this before but I am going to try my darnedest to keep up with this blog I have lots of scrapbook pages to show off and tons of cards guess now my major task will be to find the JPEGS of the makings.

flip flop album---mother's day gift.

I made a flip flop album for my mother in law. She recently got back from Cuba and I saw this paper and brown flip flops and threw it together. I had looked on line for a tutorial on how to do it since I had only seen 1, as a finished product. I found a site that sells them but no instructions on how to do it. So I looked closely at the pics and figured my own way...and now I have 2 made and want to make more! It was fun and they look so neat when they are done. Awesome coffee table book. Show off you're favorite pics in a unique manner. Wanna know how I did it? Send me an email I'll describe in full detail with pics.

my new work space

I think I was in desperate need of a new work area...I haven't got much blogging done because I haven't done much of anything else. Cynthia and I had 3 classes in the last 2 weeks so I have been really busy for that. They went very well and we have another one this Sunday. But anyways back to my new work space. I bought the Sauder project organizer today at Canadian tire. It's the best $200 I've spent. looks great holds a lot of stuff. forgot to save room for my "big shot" though. Well there's room on my desk for that I guess. I promise I will get back to updating this regularly. Maybe I'll get some pictures for Sunday's class up too.

Stationary box

This is the coolest project I have done so far...I LOVE IT!!! it was so easy to do too. The box is a nice size and when you take the lid off it's full of surprises: a space for full size cards, love cards (3x3), a note pad, gift tags, a pen holder and an envelope for stamps. I used the delicate dots designer paper and some fun little embellishments. I love the look of the hemp with delicate dots. anyways, here's the tutorial on the stationary box. Try it you will be pleasantly surprised!
